Catch the "Vibe." Give the "Vibe." Don't get "Vibed."

Torrance Surf Camp’s objective is to lay the proper foundation of surfing fundamentals in each individual student while having the utmost dedication in teaching surfing etiquette and passing down “the stoke.” All students learn basic Oceanography (what causes waves, swells, currents, tides, etc.), BEACH SAFETY  AND RESPECT, and general Surf history circled around the South Bay’s place as an epicenter of surf culture. Our Slogan, “Catch the ‘Vibe,” “Give the ‘Vibe,” “Don’t Get Vibed,” epitomizes what we are about. Simply, our students get hooked on surfing. In our crowded conditions with millions of Surfers throughout the world, our students learn how to interact and excel by having the most fun in the water! Through these courses, they learn about what it takes to and how to have a good time without interfering with others.
            Torrance Surf Camp likes to remind all participants that the program is strictly a SURF CLASS. At no point will students be playing beach sports and games like dodgeball, sand castle building, gossip hour, etc. Our instructors are here to instruct and teach OUT IN THE WATER. Camp director, Eddie Solt follows suit and is out in the surf line up teaching with the instructors making sure no student is left behind and everbody is getting quality instruction. His job is to make sure each student gets the necessay attention they deserve and what they paid for.
